June Transition Forum – Talk on Circular Economy, plus “Anything But Plastic” stall

circular economyWednesday 20 June 2018, 8pm, George IV pub, Bore Street, Lichfield, WS13 6LU

What might a circular economy look like for Lichfield? Lichfield-based business development consultant Anthony Walters will be talking to us about this positive alternative to a traditional economy.

The principles of a circular economy embody inclusion, community and better “liveability”. In addition to creating £millions of opportunities for the people, the council and businesses of lichfield, a circular economy approach improves infrastructure , education, health, wellbeing and the environment.

Jenny Derry will also be having a stall with us: Jenny runs the Anything but Plastic web site where you can buy items that do not contain and are not packaged in plastic. Have a look at www.anythingbutplastic.co.uk – it may well bring a smile to your face! You can also read in the Guardian about Jenny and her mission to make it easier for people to buy plastic-free products.
