2017 AGM and acclaimed Film “Tomorrow”

We are delighted to say that our 2017 AGM is to be held at 7pm on Wednesday 5th July in the George IV pub at 34 Bore Street, Lichfield, WS13 6LU.

The formalities are planned to be brief, and will be followed at 7.30pm by a screening of the film entitled “Tomorrow”. This is a full-length film and is expected to finish at 9.30, with a discussion afterwards. Everyone welcome, you don’t have to be a member. There may be a nominal charge at the door.

This is a hugely positive, affirming and inspirational film, exploring creative solutions in the fields of food, energy, transport, economics and education. It visits permaculture farms, urban agriculture projects, community-owned renewable projects, local currencies, creative schools, ambitious recycling projects. It has been a huge boost to community-led projects, and is currently on release in 29 other countries, regularly receiving standing ovations, and leading to the formation of many new community projects. It is the perfect antidote to the current sense of global despondency. It also has a great soundtrack!
